How does it work?
Property auctions are a quick and efficient way to sell or buy property.
Our auctions are conducted with an auctioneer at the rostrum and are live streamed on the internet with remote online, telephone and proxy bidding. On the fall of the hammer, contracts are exchanged, and completion is set for between 20 and 40 business days later, providing total transparency and complete security for both buyer and seller.
- Speed – We offer all our auction properties for sale with a fixed timescale for exchange and completion.
Minimum reserve price – With the reserve price agreed in advance, a property will never sell for less than the seller is prepared to accept.
- Security – By paying a reservation fee and/or a deposit to secure the property, in most cases contracts will be exchanged on the fall of the hammer. This stops any further negotiation and provides reassurance that the sale will not fall through.
- Transparency – Auctions are a transparent way to buy and sell a property. Bidders can see the other bids in real-time and can place their bid at a price they are comfortable with, eliminating the uncertainty of closed bidding.
- Flexibility – Sellers can choose the auction method best suited to their circumstances and bidders can remotely bid 24/7, from any device and anywhere in the world, providing total flexibility to all parties.
- Funding / Mortgage – Buying in an unconditional auction means you will have between 20 and 40 business days to complete so your lending will need to be in place prior to bidding.
