The more northerly of the two sites is Apsley Depot and the more southerly site is the Former Telecoms Site. Vehicular access to Apsley Depot is by way of a driveway from Ebberns Road which is located between Waterside Court and Willow Court, which are both modern apartment developments. Vehicular access to the Former Telecoms Site is only available through Apsley Depot and then along the canal towpath which is particularly wide along this stretch of the canal.

Apsley Depot

Offices/Stores (approx. 77.14 sq m / 830 sq ft)
A two storey building of masonry construction with part rendered elevations under a pitched tiled roof. The ground floor comprises two separate single garages utilised for general storage. There is a pedestrian access door in the side elevation leading to a staircase to the first floor which is laid out as an open plan office with separately partitioned kitchen and WC.
Workshop/Stores (approx. 57.12 sq m / 615 sq ft)

Garage/Store (approx. 59.52 sq m / 644 sq ft)
Single storey brick built garage/storage building with a corrugated cement sheet covered roof which has been extended to one side.

Former Telecoms Site

In addition to the aforementioned vehicular access, pedestrian access to the towpath is available adjacent to the site from the canal footbridge. The site is roughly rectangular in shape and extends to approximately 0.04 hectares (0.10 acres). To the front of the site is an extensively overgrown yard/parking area and there is a single building formed along the rear boundary. The building is a single storey brick structure beneath a pitched tiled roof extending to approx. 32 sq m / 344 sq ft.
